Introduction

This web site contains analyses and animations of some simple vibrating systems. The intent is to provide the student with a visual representation of the effects various parameters have on the vibration of basic spring and mass systems. The site considers damped and undamped oscillation, free and forced vibration, and one- and two-degree of freedom systems.
